Site work for a water / sewer project in Hartford, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Work shall consist of all labor, equipment, fees, permits, and other related costs necessary to provide for the installation of approximately 2,990 LF of 8-inch Ductile Iron water main, appurtenances, new hydrants, water service transfers and meter pit installations on the Boulevard and approximately 2,341 LF of 8-inch Ductile Iron water main, appurtenances, new hydrants, water service transfers, and meter pit installations on Garfield Road to replace the existing water mains of various sizes along with support equipment and accessories. QUESTION DEADLINE 3/10/2022 4:00 PM This Project and the Work performed thereon is subject to federal prevailing wage laws as well as the prevailing wage laws of the State of Connecticut. The Contractor and all Subcontractors shall be responsible for paying the higher of the applicable federal prevailing wages and the applicable state prevailing wages. The District may hold the bids up to 90 business days from the bid opening to award the contract. The Contract Time to fully complete all work shall be One Hundred-eighty (180) days
