Site work and paving for a civil project in Hartford, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The City of Hartford is soliciting proposals for Sanitary Sewer, Stormwater, Roadway and Streetscape Improvements for Bartholomew Avenue. Improvements include, but are not limited to: installation of new sewers, full depth roadway replacement, installation of existing and new granite curbing, concrete sidewalk, sidewalk ramps, signage, drainage, pavement markings, streetscape and lighting improvements etc. The duration of the contract is described in the Special Conditions under Scheduling the Work. This project is being paid for by three (3) funding sources, the Metropolitan District Commission (MDC of Hartford), the State of Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD), and the City of Hartford. The bid schedule has been divided into two (2) parts to correspond with work being paid by the MDC (Stage 1) and work being paid by the City and DECD jointly (Stage 2). All Proposers are notified that there are like numbered items contained in both bid schedules. This is purposeful and all Proposers must provide a cost for each of those items as they apply to the work being performed in that construction stage.
