Renovation of a mixed-use development in Hartford, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and water / sewer project.
The HSBC desires to select qualified respondent to provide a new roof and associated drainage in accordance with the Construction Documents at the Buildings & Grounds Facility located at 388 Wethersfield Avenue, Hartford, CT 06114. 1. Demolition and removal of deteriorated wood blocking, fascia and trim, as indicated. 2. Demolition and removal of terra cotta coping. 3. Demolition and removal of security grilles. 4. Demolition and removal of wood canopy. 5. Demolition and removal of abandoned mechanical units, as indicated. 6. Demolition and removal of light fixture and conduit, as indicated. 7. Removal and salvage of the following for reinstallation: Wood blocking, nailers and plywood associated with roofing. 1. Roof tear-off. 2. Removal of damaged or deteriorated curbs and blocking. 3. Roof re-cover preparation. 4. Removal of base flashings. 5. Temporary roof protection. 6. All hoisting and scaffolding for completion of masonry work. 7. Waste disposal. 1. Asphalt shingles for sloped roofs. 2. Self-adhering sheet underlayment. 3. All hoisting and scaffolding necessary for the completion of the roof work. 4. Waste disposal.
