Site work and new construction of a civil project in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Work is generally described as follows: A. Division A - Water Main The project consists of the installation of approximately 2,960 linear feet of 16" PVC water main and fittings, valves, fire hydrants and other improvements associated with: the proposed water supply main along 8th Street, as well as additional proposed water mains at the 8th Street Tank Site, and additional proposed water mains at the International Tank Site. A portion of the proposed water main will be horizontally directionally drilled under existing asphalt pavement within the project limits. A portion of the proposed water main will be jack-and-bored under existing railroad within the project limits. B. Division B - Tanks The project consists of the construction of two (2), 142'-tall, 98'-diameter, two-million-gallon (2 MG) Composite Elevated Water Storage Tanks, and other site improvements and instrumentation and controls associated with the construction thereof, located at the 8th Street Site and the International Drive Site, as shown on the plans. Demolition of three (3) existing elevated tanks is also included in this project. BID GUARANTY: Each Bid Proposal shall be accompanied by an acceptable Bid Bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price executed by an incorporated surety company in good standing and qualified to do business in the State of Indiana. Each Bid Proposal shall also require a statement to the effect that if the Bidder is awarded the Contract, Performance and Payment Bonds in an amount not less than one hundred percent of the total bid price will be executed by an incorporated surety company in good standing and qualified to do business in the State of Indiana. BID PROPOSALS: Bid Proposals shall be properly and completely executed on forms incorporated in the Contract Documents, including State Form 52414 (Form 96), revised 2013 or later. In accordance with IC 22-5-1.7-3, Contractors and Sub-Contractors are required to enroll in and verify the work eligibility status of all its newly hired employees through the E-Verify program. In accordance with IC 5-22-16.5, Contractors entering into a contract with the Owner will be required to provide an Indiana Iran Investment Certification. In accordance with IC 4-13-18, Contractor shall submit an Employee Drug Testing Plan with their Bid and contractors of any tier as defined in IC 5-16-13-4 must comply with the drug testing requirements. No Bidder may withdraw his proposal within a period of sixty (60) days following the date set for opening Bids. The Owner reserves the right to retain all Bids for a period of not more than sixty (60) days and said Bids shall remain in full force and effect during said time. The Owner further reserves the right to waive informalities, and to award the contract to any Bidder to the advantage of the Owner, or to reject all BIDS.
