Renovation of a water / sewer project in North Attleborough, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
a. The Work covered by this Contract consists of removal of existing, failing grout (approximately 6,300 SF 1-1/2 inches thick) and concrete along the entire floor of the primary clarifier, including disposal of all materials, shot-blasting, grinding and cleaning all surfaces to prepare for primer. The contractor will then apply a fast curing, two-part epoxy primer and topcoat. The contract also includes repairs to the upper level parapet wall rim areas b. Drawings and photos are included at the end of the bid package. c. The Work is located at the Wastewater Treatment Facility located at Cedar Road in the City of Attleboro. All work will be conducted during regular hours of operation, Monday through Thursday 7:00 AM through 4PM and Friday 7:00AM through 12:00PM The Contractor shall demolish the failing grout, and remove, transport and dispose of all materials in accordance with waste disposal regulations. The Contractor shall be responsible for all labor, equipment (jack hammers, demo hammers, scalers, scarifiers, wedge hammers, hoists, etc.) and materials required to demolish, remove and dispose of the existing grout finish. The Contractor will be responsible for any damaged surfaces or equipment that is damaged by their equipment. Materials may be stored on-site in a secured container at a location approved by the Chief Plant Operator.
