Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Gilbert, Arizona. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Design and construction of The Living Room Plaza located west of Gilbert Road between Vaughn and Page Avenues, based on the updated 2018 Heritage District Redevelopment Plan. The Living Room Plaza will provide a vibrant public amenity in the heart of downtown. The scope of this project will include pre-design phase with pedestrian activity at the plaza, enhancements at the Gilbert Water Tower, circulation, ride share drop-off functions, and validate options and feasibility for the underground parking structure. As of October 29, 2022, this project is currently in the FY 2023-2032 CIP . Funding for this project is allotted in the city's capital improvement plan for construction Fy 2026. A firm timeline has not been established; however, construction is scheduled for Fiscal Year 2026. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
