Renovation of a municipal facility in White Plains, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The New York Power Authority (hereinafter, the "Authority" or "NYPA") invites you to submit a proposal to furnish all plant supervision, labor, materials and equipment (except for services, materials and/or equipment to be furnished by others as specifically referred to in the Contract Documents) and performing all operations required to provide Engineering, Procurement and Construction services for the deployment of Dark Fiber as described in this RFP. It is the objective of NYPA to enter into an Indefeasible Right of Use ("IRU") agreement with the Bidder under this procurement to lease dark fiber to support NYPA's backbone network requirements in the White Plains region in New York State. NYPA plans to lease these dark fiber transmission facilities under the terms of an IRU agreement to be entered into with the Bidder. This communication link will provide connectivity to NYPA's headquarters building with access to the backbone fiber network across the New York State Thruway Authority (NYSTA) system NYSTA fiber optic system - this connection shall occur in a handhole located at the intersection of Interstate Route 287 East and North Broadway (Exit #6) Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 5% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 5% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 3%
