Renovation of a multi-residential development in White Plains, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
**There have been 2 Addenda for the project. please contact the owner to secure them.** The Authority's White Plains Office (WPO) has two diesel fueled emergency generators (EDG), a 450 kW Caterpillar and a 571 kW Detroit Diesel. These emergency generators provide backup power for critical NYPA infrastructure within the WPO. There are several issues with the existing diesel fuel supply system that are reducing the reliability of the emergency generators fuel supply. The common fuel transfer pumps that feed both generators day tanks have no redundancy, the day tank of the Caterpillar EDG unit is undersized, and the Caterpillar EDG often fails to start on the first crank due to low fuel oil pressure. Several other minor modifications to the fuel system are also included in the scope. NYPA is seeking a qualified Design-Build Contractor to perform this work Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 5% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 10% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 6% Contract term: UP TO ONE YEAR
