Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Newport Beach, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
The work necessary for the completion of this contract consists of removing existing improvements and making specified improvements to the interior, exterior, and landscaping of the community center at Cliff Drive Park License Requirements Contractor's License "A" or "B" Required No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project (submitted on or after March 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)]. No contractor or subcontractor may be awarded a contract for public work on a public works project (awarded on or after April 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5. The City is not responsible for any errors that may occur from the printing of any of these documents by bidders, including, but not limited to: scaling issues, print quality, failure to print and submission of all required documents. The Bid Results are immediately available to the public via PlanetBids following the Bid Opening Date (Bid Due Date). Members of the public who would like to attend the reading may go to the City Clerk's Office (Located at 100 Civic Center Dr, Newport Beach, CA 92660) Bid Bond 10.00% Payment Bond 100.00% Performance Bond 100.00% The Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, tools, plant, supplies, equipment, transportation, superintendence, temporary construction of every nature, and all other services and facilities necessary to complete the construction of the restroom facilities, including all incidental work described in the contract documents. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to the following: Interior work - Remove and replace interior Gyp Board at storage room, new gyp board ceiling and rigid insulation, replace existing HVAC system and replace light fixtures. Exterior work - Patch and repair exposed wood rafter tails, new concrete walkway around building for ADA compliance to building, drinking fountain, new concrete curb at base of exterior wall and plaster, replace rotted wood siding with new plaster wall, paint at exterior of building, new texture CMU seat wall adjacent to sidewalk. Renovation of areas adjacent to restrooms as shown on the drawings. All work shall be in accordance with applicable codes and local regulations that may apply. In case of conflict in or between the Contract Documents and a governing code or ordinance, the more stringent standard shall apply.
