**As of December 15, 2020. Project has not been awarded. A Timeline for award has not been established yet. The City of Pikeville is seeking bids to perform the work of rehabilitating and painting two water tanks as described in the following technical specifications. Due to the temporary closure of City Hall in effect based on state and local orders relating to COVID19, the following two changes will be implemented for this bidding process: 1. Bids may be mailed as outlined in the original bid instructions or bids that can be placed in an 81/2 x 11 inch or smaller folder may be dropped in the utility payment drop box located near the parking area adjacent to Scott Avenue. 2. The bid opening will still be held on the scheduled date, but will not be open to the public in the traditional sense. The bid opening will be held via video conference using Zoom Video Communications software. Individuals who wish to be invited to this video conference should email the City Clerk at robbi.bentley@pikevilleky.gov. This section of the technical specifications is prepared to establish general requirements applicable to the entire Project. All items discussed herein are considered incidental to the overall accomplishment of the Project and no separate payment shall be made for these items. This element of work shall consist of the mobilization of the CONTRACTOR'S forces and equipment necessary for performing the work required under the Contract. It shall include transportation of personnel, equipment, and operating supplies to the site; establishment of offices, buildings, and other temporary facilities at the site; development of submittals and record drawings in accordance with Section III of these specifications; and other preparatory' and incidental work.
