Renovate the first floor main corridor and the first floor south, the main original communicating stair to the attic, the entire second floor, construction of new mechanical spaces in the attic, construction of two new elevators and upgrades to building systems. The Fund's project specific goals for this project are 5% MBE and 5% WBE and 3% SDV The main features of the work shall include, but not be limited to the following: a. Hazardous Material Abatement and Removals b. Removal of interior partitions and finishes c. Removal of interior concrete slab and structural members d. Removal of mechanical distribution systems and terminal units e. Removal of Plumbing fixtures and piping f. Removal of electrical power distribution systems and fixtures g. Removal of existing data/communications systems h. Interior masonry shaft walls i. Steel framing for elevators and mechanical equipment j. Interior metal stud and gypsum wall board partitions to create 1) Classrooms, Educational spaces 2) Offices 3) Toilet Rooms k. Interior flush wood and hollow metal doors, hollow metal frames and hardware l. Exterior hollow metal doors, frames and hardware m. Exterior aluminum storefront doors and hardware n. Interior partitions and doors of fire rated aluminum storefront system o. Interior finishes including 1) LVT flooring 2) Carpet tile 3) Porcelain ceramic floor tile 4) Suspended Acoustic and Ornamental Ceilings p. Manufactured wood casework q. Finish Carpentry r. Painting s. Construction of elevators t. Mechanical distribution systems including: 1) Ductwork and terminal units 2) Radiant piping u. Fire protection system installation v.
