The Village of Potsdam will accept sealed bids for supplying the Village Water Treatment and Wastewater Treatment Plants with chemicals on an annual contract basis for the period from June 1, 2023 through May 31, 2024. Bids will be received for each chemical listed below, and bids will be evaluated for each chemical on an individual basis. 1. Sodium Hydroxide Na (OH) 2. Alum (Al2 SO3) 3. Sodium Hypochlorite Na (OCL) 4. Sodium Fluoride 5. Poly Aluminum Chloride or equal 6. Phosphate 7. Liquid Polymer The Village reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject any or all bids, or any part of any or all bids. The Village reserves the right to reduce the total quantity purchased without reduction in unit price for the delivered load specified. The suppliers of chemicals shall provide a guaranteed analysis of the concentration of each load delivered. These analyses must be performed by a competent chemist and must be delivered at the same time as the load of chemicals. The lack of the analysis will be reason to refuse delivery of the load.
