Renovation of a fire / police facility in Morton, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 1,153-square-foot fire / police facility.
General Construction Renovations to the Borough Police Station including removal and replacement of wall partitions, door, ceiling tile and lighting fixtures. A bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid, made payable to Morton Borough, must accompany each bid. Attention of bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in this bid packet, particularly to the PA Prevailing Wage Rates, Public Works Employment Verification, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions, the requirement for a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price and a one-year maintenance bond for 10% of the contract price. The Borough of Morton reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids thereof, and waive any informalities in the building, as they deem in the interest of the Borough. The approximate cost for this project is between $50,000.00-$60,000.00
