Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Richmond, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Major items of work include: (1) Recoating existing 300,000 gallon multi-leg elevated storage tank (2) Rehabilitation of existing 300,000 gallon multi-leg elevated storage tank and related appurtenances Estimate: $250,000 to $350,000 Responses to all questions will be posted electronically. Bids will not be accepted by email or other electronic means. Each BID shall be accompanied by a bid security, in the form of a Bid Bond or Cashiers Check, in an amount not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid. The City of Richmond reserves the right to accept or reject any bids, to waive technicalities, and to make any investigation deemed necessary concerning the bidder's ability to provide the product(s) required,and to accept what in its judgement is the most advantageous bid. During the period between bid solicitation, submission date, and the contract award, respondents including their agents and/or representatives/owners, shall not directly or indirectly promote their proposal or bid to any member of the Richmond City Commission or City staff except in the course of City-sponsored inquiries, briefings,interviews, and/or presentations requests. Violation of this provision may result in the rejection of the respondents proposal submitted.
