The Project consists of constructing a 750,000-gallon multi-column elevated storage tank, 500 GPM triplex booster pump station and appurtenances, and demolition of the 100,000-gallon East Perryville standpipe. Bids will be received for one (1) prime contract. The elevated tank, booster pump station and standpipe demolition shall be bid on a lump sum basis, as Contract No. 1. Bid security The project advertised will be funded by the Kentucky Infrastructure Authority (KIA) through a Federally Assisted Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) Loan and Local Funds. All Bidders must comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11246 as amended, which prohibits discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sec, or national origin. All Bidders must comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Anti-Kickback Act, the Contract Work Hours Standard Act and 40 CFR 33.1016. All Bidders, Contractors and Subcontractors must comply with 41 CFR 60-4, in regard to Affirmative Action, to ensure equal opportunity to females and minorities and will apply the timetables and goals set forth in 41 CFR 60-4 as applicable to the area of the project. Bidders must make positive efforts to use small, minority, women-owned and disadvantaged businesses. If Owner awards the contract for the work, such award shall be to the responsible Bidder submitting the lowest responsive Bid. . Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
