Site work for a water / sewer project in Greenville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Bids for the construction of the Greenville Utilities Commission Outfall Sewer Rehabilitation Phase IV will be received by the Owner. Contractors are notified that North Carolina G.S. 87 relating to licensing of contractors will be observed in receiving bids and awarding contracts. Representatives of Owner and Engineer will be present to discuss the Project. Engineer will transmit to all prospective Bidders of record such Addenda as Engineer considers necessary in response to questions arising at the conference. Oral statements may not be relied upon and will not be binding or legally effective. The work includes the Cured-in-Place (CIPP) pipe rehabilitation of 660 lf of 21-inch, 6,885 lf of 24-inch, and 795 lf of 27-inch sewer outfall along portions of the Green Mill Run and Tar River Sewer Outfalls; rehabilitation of the corresponding 37 manholes using the Epoxy lining method; contingency CIPP rehabilitation of 905 lf of 24-inch; contingency rehabilitation of up to four manholes using the Epoxy lining method; up to six total contingency point repairs in each of the 21-, 24-, and 27 diameter ranges; contingency joint testing and grouting; contingency construction matting; and all tasks necessary to deliver the finished product for service and shall, at minimum, include site access, CSX coordination, pre-and post-cleaning and television inspection, by-pass pumping/flow control, required testing, and restoration of all areas disturbed by the contractor.
