Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Sylacauga, Alabama. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility.
The project consists of the demolition and clearance of approximately twenty-six (26) residential properties declared public nuisances and located within the corporate limits of the City of Sylacauga, Alabama. Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications, and Form of Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bond, and other contract documents may be examined during normal business hours at City Hall, 301 N. Broadway Avenue, Sylacauga, AL or via email by requesting them from jak57@bellsouth.net or splexico@sylacaugaal.gov. The bidders current State of Alabama License Number must appear on the outside of the sealed envelope containing his/her bid. Each bidder must deposit, with its bid, security in the amount of, form of and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for bidders. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246. No bidder may withdraw its bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. A Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled at 9:00 AM, CST on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at the Municipal Complex at 301 N Broadway Avenue, 2nd Floor. The City of Sylacauga, AL reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids
