**As of July 12, 2023, project was awarded to Pinpoint Locating, Inc, awarded amount is $2,199,066.57 .** The scope of work shall include the installation of the following approximate items of work and quantities of these items: SECTION 1: 6" Steel Pipe (Open Trench), 31,759 L.F.; 6" Steel Pipe Road Crossing by HDD, 695 L.F.; 6" Steel Pipe Creek/Wetland Crossing by HDD, 2,190 L.F.; 4" Steel Valve w/Box, 1 Each; 6" Steel to 6" Steel Connection, 1 Each; 4" Steel to 4" Steel Connection, 1 Each; 4" Hot-Tap Connection, 1 Each; and other miscellaneous necessary items. Plans and Specifications may be obtained in electronic form from Gas Meter Engineers, Inc., 689 Highway 36, Chelsea, AL 35043 (telephone 205-678-6210).Bidders must meet the "Utilities Board of the City of Sylacauga - Approved Gas Contractor Requirements" and submit required documentation with their bid. Each Bidder shall be a licensed Contractor in accordance with the regulations of the State of Alabama and must include the license number, expiration date and classification on the outside of the sealed bid envelope. The Contract Time, as stated in the General Conditions, shall be One Hundred Fifty (150) consecutive calendar days from the date of beginning as specified in the Notice to Proceed
