Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Medina, Ohio. Completed plans call civil work for a water / sewer project.
It is the purpose of this contract to provide all labor, materials, equipment and traffic control necessary to line existing sanitary sewer mains in the City of Brunswick, City of Medina, Montville Township, and Village of Gloria Glens in accordance with Medina County Sanitary Engineers plans and specifications and in conjunction with best engineering and construction practices. All contractors and subcontractors working within the City of Brunswick and/or City of Medina must be registered with the Cities. In the City of Medina, the contactor will need to obtain a permit to work within the City's road right-of-way. Contractor to contact the City's Engineering Department at (330) 722-9034 to obtain permit. Cost for permit is $40.00. A Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) plan will be required for any anticipated road closures that will disrupt traffic flow. MOT plan will need to be prepared by Contractor and submitted to the City for review and approval. The Medina County Sanitary Engineer (MCSE) will obtain the road opening permit from ODOT for work within the right-of-way on Medina Road (SR 18). The traffic control device required by ODOT must be followed and is provided in the ODOT Traffic Control Requirements Section of this specifications book.
