The intent of this Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) is to create a pool of prequalified Architectural firms with which the Commission will enter into openended contracts. This RFQ does not constitute a bid and is intended solely to obtain competitive response from which the Commission may choose a Responder that best meet its needs. No statutory, regulatory, or common law bidding requirement applies to this RFQ. The Commission intends to award contracts, for the detailed services pursuant to all applicable statutes and regulations. SCOPE OF SERVICES: A variety of projects encompassing any of the listed required services is possible. Responders will be required to process all required federal, state and local permit applications; comply with all applicable federal, state and local statutes, rules and regulations; and, all architectural work must conform to the appropriate State of New Jersey licensing requirements. The specific extent and scope of the architectural services required for any given project shall be subject to the approval and control of the Commission’s award of the contract. Provide details, pictures, renderings, plans, etc. of Responder’s ability to provide the scope of services for the following architectural specialties: 1. Bridge & Bridge Related Structures 2. Office Buildings & Other Building Types 3. Toll Plaza 4. Master Planning 5. Historic Restoration 6. Recreational Facility 7. Roof Consulting Work 8. Landscape Architecture 9. General The period for the qualified pool created by virtue of this RFQ shall be December 1, 2020 to November 30, 2023. The Commission reserves the right to request additional responses for qualified professionals to supplement the pool in accordance with its own policies and relevant New Jersey law, in its sole discretion.
