LICENSE REQUIRED: A or B The construction duration is 12 months (365 calendar days) from the date of issuance of NTP. The duration includes design, approval, procurement, and installation of all deferred approval items on the project. All deferred approval items under contractor's contract will need to be approved by the design team before submitting to the Authority Having Jurisdiction on the project. In setting the construction duration, District has assumed the following: 1. The full design and submittal of the PEMB package by the contractor and review and approval by the design team will take 30 working days in total. 2. The review and approval of the project design engineer approved PEMB design package by the Authority Having Jurisdiction/City of Fremont will take another 30 working days in total. It is the contractor's responsibility to ensure that PEMB submittal packages are complete and resubmittals are made as soon as possible by addressing all of the reviewers' comments. If the durations for the activities noted above take longer than estimated, with the result impacting the project's critical path and delaying the overall schedule, then the District may, at its discretion, extend the contract duration by providing a noncompensable schedule extension to the contractor for the number of days over the estimated duration for the above activities.
