Description

Site work for a mixed-use development in Salt Spring Island, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The works to be constructed under this Contract include, but are not limited to construction of a new 1.5m wide pedestrian walking pathway located within the existing Lower Ganges Road right-of-way on Salt Spring Island. The pathway is approximately 620m in length and generally follows the existing ground profile. The major components of this project include gravel pathway construction (subbase layer, base layer, and gravel surface), geo-fabric material, fencing, ditch and piped drainage, interlocking concrete block walls, and tree preservation.
