Life extension of the trestle and berth at Long Harbour ferry terminal. The scope of work for the Project includes all labour, materials, and incidentals required to life extend the timber trestles, vehicle ramp, and other marine structures (e.g. pontoons, dolphins, wingwalls, and floating leads), as is more particularly set out in Schedule A Scope of Work (the Scope of Work). The general requirements of the Scope of Work include: Approach Trestle Repairs: Supply & install treated timber components, including horizontal bracing, crossbracing, timber stringers (or equivalent), corbels, blocking and pile caps, structural members and miscellaneous structural connections; Supply & install steel pile jackets; Supply & install epoxy mastic repairs and plug holes on bearing piles; Supply & install pile cap repairs using steel channel; Supply & install pile identification markings; Miscellaneous repairs; and, Removal & disposal of materials. Line Dolphin Repairs: Dolphin NO.1 Fender Panel: Remove & dispose of existing fender panel; and, Fabricate, supply & install new fender panel. Dolphin NO.2 Sheet Pile: Clean & patch perforation with steel plate; and, Remove & dispose of replaced materials. Loading Ramp Repairs: Install three ramp hinge assemblies (owner supplied); Clean & re-coat steel components at specified locations; and, Remove & dispose of replaced materials. Wing Wall Repairs: Clean & re-coat steel components at specified locations; Repair pontoon concrete under push frame base plate; and, Remove & dispose of any replaced materials. Inshore Floating Lead Repairs: Supply & install new facing timbers at specified locations; and, Remove & dispose of any replaced materials.
