The Project involves rehabilitation of a portion of the City of Waldo's wastewater collection system. Work includes the following: approximately 400 LF of point repairs of 8" and 10" VCP at 13 different locations; cut and remove 11 hammer taps; descale/chain cut 30 LF of 8" CIP; root treatment and removal; approximately 3,600 LF of 6" through 10" CIPP; reinstatement of active services; traffic control; and associated restoration. Available construction budget is $233,000. Owner/Engineer recognize that all work may not be accomplished within available construction budget. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office, Monday through Friday (excluding Holidays), and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described. Bidding Documents may also be examined at City Hall, 14450 NE 148th Avenue, Waldo, Florida 32694, (352) 468-1001, Monday through Thursday (excluding holidays). Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. To be considered qualified, Bidder shall be licensed to engage in the business of contracting in the State of Florida by the Construction Industry Licensing Board and shall have successfully completed, as prime contractor, a minimum of three (3) projects of a similar nature involving sanitary sewer lining and/or rehabilitation within the past five (5) years, each having a minimum contract value of $200,000.
