As of January 12, 2021 project was awarded to I & A Contractor Inc. amount of $1,467,850.00. The start and completion date has not yet been determined. Project comprises labor, material and services necessary for: Major components of Project Work consist of: selective demolition, miscellaneous rough carpentry, preparation for reroofing, installation of new thermoplastic-polyolefin (TPO) roof and accessories, rooftop fall protection and accessories, roof pavers and pedestals, aluminum windows, electrically conductive primer, and exterior painting. License required to bid the project: B Successful bidder shall furnish payment and performance bonds, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price. All bids shall be accompanied by the following forms of bidder's security: Bidder's Bond, cashier's check, certified check or cash. Bidder's Bond shall be executed by an admitted surety insurer, authorized to issue surety bonds in the State of California. Bond and checks shall be made payable to the director of the Department of General Services. The security shall be in an amount equal to at least 10 percent of the amount bid. The States requirements for Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation will be presented along with other contract requirements. Bidders are required to be in attendance for the entirety of the pre-bid site inspection and sign out at the conclusion. The term of this project is 243 calendar days. The Contractor shall pay to the State the sum of $500 per day for each and every calendar day delay in finishing of Work under this Contract beyond the Contract time. The right is reserved to reject any and all bids and waive any irregularity in any bid received.
