Renovation of a municipal facility in Erie, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
General Construction Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, bank cashiers or trust company treasurers check, or approved Surety Companys bid bond, made payable to the County of Erie in the amount of 10 percent (10%) of the base bid as a security. Questions during the bid period shall be directed to the office of the architect. The work consists of renovations to the new Erie County Public Defender space located at 210 East 2nd Street, Erie, PA All contracts exceeding $10,000 shall contain a provision requiring compliance with Executive order 11246, entitled, Equal Employment Opportunity, as amended by Executive order 11375 and as supplemented in Department of Labor regulations (41 CFR Part 60) This is a Federally Assisted Project and is subject to coverage under the Davis-Bacon and related Acts. Project Labor Agreement compliance also shall apply. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set forth in the opening of bids. The County of Erie reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept/reject any part of the bids.
