During normal maintenance and street rebuild projects, Public Works occasionally requires services deemed urgent and/or beyond the capabilities of "in-house" resources. The work, in general, consists of providing pedestrian traffic control, removing and replacing of concrete curbs, gutters, sidewalks, driveways, pedestrian ramps, resetting roadside signs, and/or removing/pruning/grinding tree roots at various locations as they are identified on Work Orders throughout the term of the contract. The contract term is three (3) years. Depending on thenature of the WorkOrder,five percent (5%) will be withheldfrom each progress payment made to the contractor for work performed and willbe held until completion of the work,its acceptance and the expiration of the period providedby law for filing liens by laborers or materialmen. Questions and Requests for Information regarding the project must be submitted through the electronically. Responses to questions will be posted on the bid site.
