*For bid results bidder must contact SUNY Morrisville State College directly SUNY Morrisville is seeking bids for its 271036 Charlton Lecture Hall Rehabilitation project. The work to be done under the contract consists of performing, installing, furnishing and supplying all materials, equipment, labor and incidentals necessary or convenient for the construction of the above titled project. The main features of this work shall include, but not be limited to the following: Hazardous Materials abatement, ADA upgrades, mechanical repairs and upgrades, electrical and A/V upgrades, and renovation of interior finishes and replacement of furniture. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 19% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 11% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 6% All work on this Contract is to be completed by August 15, 2021 and commence immediately upon contract approval by the SUNY Morrisville Business Office and Construction Department. Bids must be submitted in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. A BID SECURITY WILL BE REQUIRED FOR EACH BID IN AN AMOUNT NOT LESS THAN FIVE (5) PERCENT OF THE TOTAL BID. It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority and women-owned business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are REQUIRED to cooperate in implementing this policy. Contractor shall exert good faith efforts to achieve a participation goal of nineteen percent (19%) for Certified Minority-Owned Business Enterprises, eleven percent (11%) for Certified Women-Owned Business Enterprises and six percent (6%) for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses.
