Apalachee Parkway Forcemain Replacement Project Q & A deadline: Oct 30, 2020 12:00:00 PM EDT The Apalachee Parkway Forcemain Replacement Project consists of the replacement of approximately 1623 LF of sanitary sewer forcemain within City of Tallahassee utility easements near the intersection of Capital Circle NE and Apalachee Parkway. The project includes installation of approximately 182 LF of 36" DR 11 HDPE by pulling through existing 42" DIP force main underneath Apalachee Parkway at the location noted in the Plans, and installation of 1441 LF of 36" PVC DR 21 in unimproved areas north and south of the Apalachee Parkway crossing. Other proposed improvements include cut-in connections, removing sections of abandoned and active 42" DIP, installing (1) Air Release Valve with additional odor control structure, ground surface restoration and related items as identified in the Contract Documents. Due to long lead times for materials, the City will procure certain items to expedite the Project. A Materials List describing the items and quantities to be furnished by the City is included in the Contract Documents. The Base Bid is for all labor, equipment, and any items necessary to construct this project that are not included on the Materials List provided in the Contract Documents. Contract time for the Base Bid is Thirty (30) calendar days.
