Saving Project...

Site work for a water / sewer project in Henderson, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

*As of December 2, 2020, a general contractor has been awarded. The project basically consists of the following: Installation of approximately 7,000 LF of 21", 18", and 12" diameter PVC gravity sewer pipe, approximately 23 manholes and right-of-way clearing, including but not limited to dry bores, encased creek crossings, well-pointing, by-pass pumping and other miscellaneous work necessary for a complete and operable sanitary sewer system collection installation. A Bidder's Bond, Certified or Cashier's Check in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid shall accompany each bid as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will promptly enter into contract with the City of Henderson, Texas. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond, Payment Bond and Maintenance Bond as well as proof of statutory worker's compensation insurance. A performance BOND and a payment BOND, each in the amount of 100 percent of the CONTRACT PRICE, with a corporate surety approved by the OWNER, will be required for the faithful performance of the CONTRACT. The City of Henderson reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding process. Bids may be held by the City of Henderson for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award.
