Kansas Turnpike Authority (KTA) is requesting sealed proposals for furnishing all labor and performing all work in accordance with the Specifications and other Contract Documents, known as KTA Contract No. 7756 Sumner, Butler, Chase, Lyon, and Douglas County, Kansas. TYPE OF WORK: This work will include painting and tank rehab for (5) water towers located at the KTA Service Areas: Belle Plaine, Towanda, Matfield Green, Emporia, and Lawrence and all other work shown in the plans. All blank spaces for bid prices must be filled in, according to the directions on online , and the bid form must be fully completed and executed when submitted Proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of bid and made payable to the Kansas Turnpike Authority as guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and give a performance bond as required if awarded the contract. The award of each contract shall be in accordance with the provisions of the Standard Specifications of the Kansas Department of Transportation, edition of 2015, and will be based upon the summation of the products of the unit prices and the approximate quantities. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularity therein to determine the lowest responsible bid most suitable to the Authority.
