Site work for a water / sewer project in Belle Plaine, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Bid Package No. 2 includes the following Work: Water Treatment Plant: Work includes furnishing all the labor, materials, and equipment for construction of a new water treatment plant. Work in general includes: piping, fire hydrants, meters, valves, and appurtenances, site earthwork and compaction, waste holding pond and appurtenances, electrical, treatment equipment purchase and installation, water treatment equipment, booster pumps, chemical feed equipment, pre-engineered steel building, concrete, masonry, and architectural work, mechanical work and equipment, miscellaneous metal equipment, water tower valve vault and equipment, drive and entrance work, wastewater lift station, telemetry system, and all other incidental and appurtenant work required to complete the improvements as shown and specified. This project is funded in part by the Kansas Department of Commerce Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), a Kansas Department Health and Environment Revolving Loan (KPWSLF), Bidder's attention is called to the required compliance with CDBG & KPWSLF. Bidders attention is called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and Federal prevailing wage rate to be paid under the contract, Section 3 of the 1968 Housing Act, Segregated facility, Section 109 of the 1984 Housing and Community Development Act, the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Executive Order No. 11246 This Project has an expected duration of 365 days.
