Remove and replace existing door hardware to meet all codes and standards for emergency exit doors and ensure all fire precaution hardware is installed. Consultant to see the installation of higher quality doors with a higher gauge and stronger door construction that will be more durable. The consultant shall assess if the existing door frames shall be removed and replaced. All frames in good condition shall be sanded and repainted. Door clearances shall be reviewed if they comply with the latest National Building Code and provide recommendations where they do not comply. Identification of all doors shall also be part of the project. Failure to pre-register will result in the Bidders Representative being refused access to the site. A maximum of one representative of each Bidder, or its authorized representative, are permitted to attend the site visit. All individuals attending the site visit must bring their Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety shoes/boots, safety vests, hard hats, safety glasses, etc. Individuals without the appropriate PPE will not be permitted to access the site.
