Demolition, site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Gloucester Township, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the demolition of a fire / police facility; for the construction of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.

The Project consists of Renovations to the Grenloch Road Fire Station, 411 Hurffville-Grenloch Road, Grenloch, New Jersey 08031; Renovations to the East Holly Avenue Station, 213 East Holly Avenue, Sewell, New Jersey 08080; and the Demolition and Construction of a new Johnson Road Station, 131 Johnson Road, Turnersville, New Jersey 08012 Schedule of Work Sequence: Projects must be completed as follows: 1. Grenloch Road Station Renovations shall be Substantially Complete with Final C.O. issued by June 4, 2021. 2. East Holly Avenue Station Renovations shall be Substantially Complete with Final C.O. issued by June 4, 2021. 3. Johnson Road Station shall be ready for complete Owner Occupancy with T.C.O. issued by January 31, 2022 The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time. The Work includes but is not limited to the following brief description. Refer to the construction documents for details: JOHNSON ROAD FIRE STATION: Demolition of Existing and Construction of New Building: a. Demolition of Existing Structure, site items, utilities, etc. Limited asbestosabatement must be completed prior to building demolition. b. Coordination and erection of temporary apparatus storage unit (pole/tent type structure) including temporary power, paving, fencing, etc. Temporary apparatus storage unit must be complete and ready for Owner use prior to Owner vacating existing building. c. The new building is approximately 14,795 s.f., including (3 1/2) Drive-Thru Apparatus Bays at approximately 6,400 s.f. with adjacent support spaces including gear room, meeting rooms, offices, gang toilet rooms, (4) single user toilet/shower rooms, sleeping quarters, non-commercial kitchen area, lounge, storage and utility rooms. d. New Station Work includes all related Structural, Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical, Fire Alarm and Fire Protection Work. All Site Work including but not limited to: parking lot, drive aisle/curbs, retaining walls, sidewalks, utilities, grading, storm water management, site lighting, fencing, landscaping and a natural gas generator. e. The Contractor is strongly encouraged to visit the site of the Project before submitting a bid.
