Site work and paving for a road / highway in Hilliard, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Cemetery Road at Franklin Street Pedestrian Crossing Improvements (CIP T-133) (hereinafter referred to as "the Project") consists of construction of a north-south high visibility crosswalk on the west side of the intersection; rectangular rapid flashing beacons; signing & pavement markings; and curb ramps. The Project also includes safety striping on the Main Street approaches at the intersection with Center Street. All questions/inquiries about the Project should be submitted electronically. Bid security in the amount of 10% of the total bid submitted must be furnished with all bids. If the bid is accepted, a contract must be executed, and a satisfactory contract bond or security furnished, conditioned according to law, in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, within ten (10) days after Notice of Award. Sureties on all bonds must be satisfactory to the City. Section 129.03 of the City's Codified Ordinances establishes a local preference program for the purchase of materials, supplies, equipment and services. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids. An award will be made to the lowest and best bidder on the base bid, taking into consideration such factors as the qualifications, past performance and efficiency of the bidder along with the price of the bid.
