Site work for a water / sewer project in Hilliard, Ohio. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
With the continued interest in redevelopment in Old Hilliard, some of the proposed uses for redevelopment may produce sanitary sewer flows that exceed the existing remaining capacity in the sanitary sewers in Old Hilliard. Therefore, additional sanitary sewers may be necessary to carry sewer flows in Old Hilliard. This project designs and constructs a new sanitary sewer line in Old Hilliard to transport sewer from the northern portion of Old Hilliard to the existing trunk sewer near the Norwich Street/Cemetery Road intersection. A preliminary design of this sewer proposes a location along the abandoned Norfolk and Southern railroad line. This route necessitates approximately 3,500' of 10- inch sanitary sewer is necessary in this area. This project is in included in the City of Hilliard FY 2022-2027 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of January 20, 2023, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
