The 2024 City of Hilliard Street Maintenance & Rehabilitation Program (SMRP) consists of mill and asphalt concrete overlay, microsurfacing, pavement repairs (partial and full depth), pavement marking, curb and gutter repair, sidewalk repair, and ADA-compliant curb ramps. A Location Map is provided showing the location and scope of work. Items 1-46 in the Bid Schedule relate to the pavement maintenance work. Also included as part of this bid: 1. Davidson Road Crosswalk Improvements which include adding pedestrian crossings, improvements to existing crossings, microsurfacing, pavement markings and ADA curb ramp repairs. Items 47-92 in the Bid Schedule relate to the crosswalk improvements. 2. Britton Parkway/Davidson Road Roundabout Improvements which includes constructing an island protected crosswalk, modifications to splitter islands and existing crosswalks, planing and resurfacing, installation of raised crosswalks and pavement marking. Items 93-141 in the Bid Schedule relate to the roundabout improvements. Final plans will be distributed at the pre-construction meeting. 3. Municipal Park Paving Project which consists of milling and resurfacing parking lots and trails, pavement markings, and signs & parking blocks. Items 142- 163. The Engineer's Estimate for this combined bid is $3,855,000. This estimate does not include the alternate bid. No bid will be accepted if it exceeds the City Engineer's estimate by more than ten percent (10%).
