The work consists of providing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to construct Lift Station No. 6 Improvements for Brazoria County Municipal Utility District No. 3 including, but not limited to: installing a bypass pumping force main connection; demolishing the existing piping, valves, and pipe supports in the wet well and valve vault; providing and installing new piping, valves, pipe supports, pump lifting chains, and valve vault access ladder fall protection system; pressure blasting and applying 1/2 " thick repair mortar to the wet well and valve vault interior surfaces; applying 100% solids epoxy coating to all wet well and valve vault interior surfaces; applying of protective coatings to all proposed piping, fittings, and valves; recoating the site bollards and generator enclosure; demolishing and removing all electrical equipment as shown on the plans, hand and tool clean the terminal box rack, and installing new control panel, new terminal boxes, new autodialer, new submersible level transducer and mounting assembly with stilling well and supports, new J-hook & Kellum grips to support cables, new floodlight, new conduits and conductors; and all other miscellaneous items specified or shown in the contract documents, including adjustments and work necessary for a complete working system. Each bid must be accompanied by either a two percent (2%) certified or cashier's check or a five percent (5%) bid bond of the maximum total bid amount. No bid may be withdrawn until the expiration of 60 calendar days from the date bids are open.
