Renovation of a military facility in Marana, Arizona. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
Request a firm, fixed price to patch non-engineered holes cut in existing ductwork for cleaning, patch with 24 gauge flat metal and secure in place. Seal openings with duct mastic. Re-insulate duct with 2' thick x 3 # density rigid fiberglass insulation board, with factory applied white coating, all service vapor barrier jacket (ASJ). Insulation shall be secured to duct with mechanical fasteners glued to the ductwork and secured with speed clips. All penetrations to the duct insulation system shall be sealed with vapor barrier mastic. All joints and seams will be sealed with matching vapor adhesive strips and sealed. Add 8 oz. cotton canvas jacket sized for painting with 2x2 corner angle installed beneath the jacket. Canvas is to be painted to match existing ductwork. Questions in about APP shall be directed to the Procurement Officer or to the APP Help Desk (procure@azdoa.gov or 602- 542-7600). The State may reject any or all bids if such action is in the State's best interest. The State may waive informalities and minor irregularities on bids received.
