Reference Number : 1603842 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2022-06-01 Submission sent electronically accepted: Nope INCREASE IN THE CAPACITY OF THE WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT PROJECT NO. 191-00292-00 The Municipality of Sainte-Claire is requesting tenders for work aimed at increasing the volumes in the wastewater ponds, mainly including, but not limited to: Familiarization with the premises, mobilization at the site of the work and demobilization, preparation, coordination with the Contracting Authority and the Professional; Emptying of sludge from existing basins and proper disposal of concentrated sludge (see technical specifications); Civil works including, but not limited to, preparation and dismantling, excavations, placement of granular materials, raising with aggregates or watertight blocks, raising manholes, clearance and placement of membranes on the slopes, excavation of the walls of the basins and the final stones, and the modification of the railings etc. (see plans and technical specifications); Structural work and concrete work required for the installation of process equipment on slabs, including the structural raising of the outlet weir, etc. (see plans); Process mechanical work, including but not limited to the supply and installation of aerators, blowers, a wall valve, valves, piping, instruments, etc. (see plans and technical specifications); Electrical work, including power supply for equipment to be supplied, pipes and wiring, new panels, coordination with Hydro-Quebec, etc. (see technical description estimate); The services, equipment and installations required to ensure at all times the safety of the premises and the stability of the existing structures that are preserved and in operation; Tests and inspections; Surveys of the works to produce the "Final" plans of the installed infrastructures. To be valid, each tender must be accompanied by a certified check for an amount equal to 10% of the total amount of the tender, including taxes, and made payable to the Municipality of Sainte-Claire or a bid bond, valid for 90 days, set at the same amount. Tenders must also be accompanied by letters of intent relating to the performance bond for an amount equivalent to 50% of the total price of the tender, including taxes. The Municipality of Sainte-Claire does not undertake to accept either the lowest or any of the tenders received and reserves the right to disregard any lack of conformity or irregularity which does not go against the equality between bidders or serves the best interests of the municipality. Furthermore, the Municipality of Sainte-Claire will not be liable for any action or claim for costs or losses suffered by the bidders as a result of such decisions. The awarding of the contract will be conditional on the approval of the loan by-law by the MAMH, which is currently in progress.
