Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Gatineau, Quebec. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

Repair the concrete staircases located at Blocks 1700 (2), 1800 (2), and 1900 (5) in conjunction with the concrete structure repairs recommended in blocks 1300, 1700, 1800, and 1900 exhibiting several areas of localized deterioration. The deteriorations, to be repaired, include cracked concrete, exposed steel stirrups, delaminated / spalled concrete, and exposed and corroded rebar in the exterior walls and floor slabs. Concrete repairs are to also fix the water drainage basins at the bottom of the stairs. Exterior efflorescence on concrete is also visible in many places due to water infiltrations. The efflorescence is to be cleaned up. The overall intent of the project is to rehabilitate the egress system for gymnasiums and to perform important concrete repairs on the building. Additionally, for Block 1700 and 1800 and 1900, new handrails are to be installed to be as per the latest code requirements and the exit doors including hardware are to be remove and replaced.
