Remove existing well pumps, piping, and Seal the wells per IDPH and Cook County Code requirements Specifications: Existing 6" water wells Approximately 200' to 240' in deep, with 1" drop pipe and 3/4 hp to 1 hp electric well pumps. Note: Contractor shall field verify depths,size, and components of all wells, prior to bidding. Licensed well contractor will have to obtain a permit for sealing the wells from Illinois Department of Public Health and/or Public Health Department of Cook County. 2. Well contractor shall disconnect electric power from the panel for existing well pump. 3. Well contractor shall remove the pump, associated pipes and casing from the well and dispose off of site. 4. Licensed well contractor shall seal all wells per IDPH and CCDPH code requirements.
