The City of Urbandale is seeking consultant services to develop a feasibility study and economic impact study of a redevelopment of portions of Merle Hay Mall into a multipurpose arena, and related hotel. The City is intending to apply for State of Iowa assistance through the Iowa Reinvestment Act and such studies are required components of a submittal The following scope of work reflects the required elements stated in the Iowa Reinvestment Act authorizing legislation. The feasibility study and economic impact study must meet these requirements in order for Urbandale's application to be accepted for review and consideration. The City may request interviews to assist in determining the desired firm for the project. These interviews would occur within two weeks of proposal submittal.
