Scope: The project will be generally comprised of renovation to the existing approximately 6,400 square foot Manassas Museum Building, constructed in 1991; and an addition of approximately 4,500 gross square feet including a circulation corridor, offices, and a multipurpose special exhibit hall. The work will also include site improvements including hardscapes and landscaping for an exterior courtyard facing Baldwin Park. Additional site work includes, but is not limited to, mechanical equipment screen walls; sidewalks; modifications to existing utilities; electrical work; and erosion sediment and control. Contractors interested in submitting construction bids on the Renovation & Addition Manassas Museum project for the City of Manassas in Manassas, Virginia, are invited to prequalify to bid (PQ #22-01). The prequalification process will be conducted in accordance with Va. Code §2.2-4317, City of Manassas Resolution No. R-2019-38, dated January 28, 2019, and City of Manassas Prequalification Process for Construction Projects. Contractors: General Contractors are the only contractors required to prequalify to bid for this Project. Subcontractors are not required to prequalify. Only General Contractors will be considered for this Prequalification to Bid Process. Only those Contractors who prequalify to bid in accordance with the City’s Prequalification to Bid Process will be eligible to submit a construction bid for the Project listed herein.
