A firm timeline for construction has not been determined *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Town of Windsor, Connecticut is seeking to engage the services of a qualified consulting firm to perform survey, design, and prepare construction documents for the Broad Street Road Diet in the center of Windsor. The improvements are proposed to include reducing Broad Street (State Route 159) to one travel lane in each direction with left-turn pockets and parallel parking on both sides of the street. Pedestrian bump-outs and other hardscape improvements are anticipated along with signal improvements to support the new lane configuration and pedestrian crossing lengths. Consulting Engineering firms responding to this request should be of adequate size and sufficiently staffed to perform the assignment described above. Firms shall have successfully completed similar road diet projects. The selected firm must meet all Municipal, State, and Federal affirmative action and equal employment opportunity practices.
