The City of Burbank, Water and Power Department (BWP) is seeking the services of a qualified and experienced firm to perform intrusive inspections of wood power poles as defined within this document. BWP will provide lists and/or maps that will callout the poles to be inspected. Tasks will also include the visual verification of pole identification tags and the integrity of pole ground wires. All fiindings will be required to be delivered electronically to BWP in an acceptable format. All QUESTIONS concerning this Price Agreement may be via electronically, no later than November 5, 2020 by 2:00 P.M. (PT). Total expenditure under this Price Agreement is estimated to be $75,000 per fiscal year. No guarantee can be given that this total will be reached or that it will not be exceeded. Vendor agrees to furnish more or less at the unit prices quoted in accordance with the City's actual requirements throughout the Contract period. This Contract will be for one (1) year from Purchase Order(s) issuance, which will begin after all documents have been received and approved by the City. The City may desire the option of renewing the Contract on a year by year basis for a maximum of four (4) years. This Contract may be renewed yearly pending appropriation of expenditures in the City's budget and approval by City Council of the budget yearly. All Bidders' Bonds or certified or cashier's checks will be in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total maximum amount of the bid. Bid Bond or cashier's check must be received in the Purchasing Division by the bid due date and time or your bid will be considered non-responsive. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or any item or items of the bid, and to waive any informalities or technical defects as the interests of the City may require.
