Project has been awarded to: E-Z Bel Construction, LLC - $9,696,608.40 Contract will provide for the reconstruction of N. Main Avenue and Soledad Street from Pecan Street to Navarro Street including the construction of pedestrian illumination, landscaping and irrigation, storm sewer upgrades, traffic signal upgrades and pedestrian amenities and enhancements as appropriate and with available funding. Joint-bid utilities include upgrades to CPS gas and SAWS water and sewer. The N. Main Avenue & Soledad Street (Pecan Street to Navarro Street) is a continuation of the previous 2012 bond funded project that resulted in the conversion of N. Main Avenue and Soledad Street to two-way operation and made various street and sidewalk improvements along these two corridors between Commerce Street and Pecan Street. The consultants construction estimated for this contract is: CoSA: Base Bid: $5,869,621.97 SAWS Water: Base Bid: $812,669.52 SAWS Sewer: Base Bid: $860,530.14 CPS Energy: Base Bid: $466,005.00 The Deadline for questions is scheduled for September 20, 2021 at 4:00 P.M.
