Project intent is to perform a 3-year cycle maintenance of high voltage transformers TA/TB/TC/TD which are all located within the Outdoor Substation. Regular maintenance of these electrical transformers and their downstream components will further include any required repairs and testing of the associated Transformers, Air Circuit Breakers and MV Switchgear. These 3 year life cycle electrical maintenance programs are designed to perform maintenance & testing to the electrical substation components as per the PSPC Guidelines for electrical infrastructure feeding Crown owned facilities. Failure to maintain electrical equipment as per the regular maintenance may result in unplanned failures, damage to sensitive electrical equipment and in extreme instance possible overheating and potential fire to these components. At this time we would also request a report with digital and infrared images of all stress cones in the Outdoor Substation due to recurring issue of Corona damage that can lead to cable failure.
