Iowa State University of Science and Technology (ISU) is soliciting information from qualified contractors to rehabilitate pipelines with cured in place pipe -CIPP in the UDCC Building on the ISU campus.All materials shall be new in accordance with this scope of work/specifications & exhibits. Questions Deadline: 11/10/2020 02:15 PM (CT) Contractors should read all materials carefully and note the due date. Contractors must submit all questions in the "Questions" tab related to this bid opportunity. Parking- There are metered parking stalls in lot 59D (between Helser & Friley) for the pre-bid walk through meeting Please email wkfoster@iastate.edu with your intent to attend this pre-bid walk through. No verbal statements by ISU or its representatives at this meeting will be binding. ISU will post all changes and material clarifications in the form of an addenda after the meeting. Contractors are strongly encouraged to attend the pre-proposal meeting. Failure to attend or have representation at the meeting will not result in the Contractor or individual being ineligible to participate in the competitive process. Project Schedule: Work needs to be completed while students are on break. Work shall be completed between Monday, November 30, 2020 - Wednesday, January 6, 2021 with the exception of the following University Holidays: December 24 & 25, 2020 and January 1, 2021. On an as-needed basis and at the end of each day’s work, Contractor shall remove all debris from University premises and dispose of all trash in landfills approved to handle and receive the specific type of waste that is being disposed. Any costs associated with the disposal of debris shall be paid by Contractor. Debris is not to be placed in university dumpsters. Follow all State of Iowa and EPA guidelines when disposing of hazardous materials. All rags used with flammable liquids to be stored in appropriate safety can and removed at the end of each day’s work. Contractor Parking: Contractors will be responsible for paying for any parking fees such as a vendor permit or using meters where allowed. The cost for obtaining a parking permit will be included the lump sum cost of the project. Face masks MUST be worn at all times while on the ISU Campus.
