Site work and renovation of a municipal facility in Windsor, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 17,800-square-foot municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

For construction of renovations to the existing 350 City Hall Square West building and to the existing 400 City Hall Square East building to accommodate the permanent relocation of the Provincial Offences Program (POA). Both facilities will remain operational for the duration of construction. Construction will be strategically phased such that staff/services will be transitioned into newly renovated spaces in order to free up occupied areas which will be subsequently renovated as part of the project scope. Some after hours work is anticipated. The total combined area to be renovated is approximately 17,800 square feet. The construction work is expected to include, but is not limited to: 1. Construction of new meeting rooms in the vacant space on the 5th floor of 350 CHS. 2. Construction of a new lunch room and a new meeting room, with moveable partition wall, in the vacant space on the 4th floor of 350 CHS. 3. Renovations to the existing office space on the 4th floor of 350 CHS to allow for access to the new lunch/meeting room. 4. Renovations to existing meeting rooms on the 2nd floor of 350 CHS to convert space to a marriage/media room. 5. Renovations to existing office and meeting room space on the 1st floor of 350 CHS to convert space to an office area for By-Law Enforcement. 6. Renovations to existing office and meeting room space on the 4th floor of 400 CHS to convert space to an office area for POA. 7. Renovations to existing lunch room, office areas and meeting room space on the 4th floor of 400 CHS to accommodate the construction of 3 new courtrooms, a shared waiting room, office space, washroom facilities, and meeting room space. The new courtroom area will include a new sound system, hearing loop system and public address system. 8. Renovations to the existing first aid room on the 4th floor of 400 CHS to convert space to a universal washroom. 9. Mechanical, electrical, security and communication upgrades/modifications throughout, complete with commissioning services.
